Florida State University Best Buddies
Get Involved
Getting involved with FSU Best Buddies is super easy! You can choose your level of commitment, as well as how involved you want to be. Regardless, we know you are the perfect fit for Best Buddies.

Buddy
If you are someone with disabilities and want to get involved in Best Buddies and get paired with a new friend, please contact us and let us know! We would love to have you in our Best Buddies Family!
Peer Buddy
These members are paired one-to-one with an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These members are required to spend time with their buddies at least twice a month. However, this time commitment is easily attainable when you start to become best friends with your buddy and find plenty of things in common! This rewarding experience shatters the social stigma of having a "disability" and celebrates the idea of friendships between people of all abilities. If you're interested, reach out to us for more information about the application and interview process.

Associate Member
For those who are either unable to make the time commitment for an individual buddy or who offer their talents in other aspects of our organization, the option of being an Associate Member may seem more appealing. Associate Members are not assigned to an individual buddy. They instead dedicate their time to assisting the club through volunteer work at our meetings, events, and promotional occasions. Associate members are still encouraged to make friendships with all of our incredible buddies and attend our diverse events!
